ASSIGNMENTS
The aim of this series of three live sessions is to go through the advantages and drawbacks of blending learning with ICT; to show a sample of blended learning using a virtual classroom, collaborative blogging and teamwork.
The classes have been designed for teachers who would like to gain confidence when going into blended or e-learning or need to give their virtual teaching a boost.
The topics covered in this series include tips, advice and resources to set up an online classroom, craft blended learning challenges and show real examples of this type of teaching. Core teaching methodology followed is prompting participants with lively relaxed educational pills, keeping up casual conversation and inspiring interaction.
This course is part of the 'Micro Teaching in Pairs on WizIQ' sessions, within the 'Learn to Flip & Blend with Technology' course.

María Jesús García San Martín is Technical and Pedagogical Advisor at the National Institute for Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF) in the Spanish Ministry of Education.
María is a Master’s Degree Teacher at University Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) in Madrid.
Over the last 30 years, she has been an ESL teacher at various levels, private centres and state-run Schools of Languages. She has coordinated the MALTED Educational Project for INTEF, and the online ‘Editing Web Pages with Dreamweaver’ course at Mentor Virtual Classroom. She has also broadcasted educational series of podcasts for the state-run Network of Best Educational IT Practices as well as for EducaconTIC, managed the National Blog on IT and Foreign Languages for INTEF, contributed to the Spanish state-run WikiDidácTICa, Agrega (educational open source resource bank by the Spanish Ministry of Education), and Internet en el Aula, where she was in charge of hosting weekly educational webinars at Wiziq.
She currently writes her Stop and Learn English blog. From time to time she contributes to the MOOC Observatory for UniMOOC, Cero en Conducta (Professional Social Network on Media Literacy and Audiovisual Language) and The Observatory for Technological and Educational Innovation (ODITE). She also present at various courses and learning events at WizIQ.
